Finding local dog breed groups is a great way to connect with others in the community.
Established local groups usually have a few meet ups throughout the year and it's such a fun way to meet others and talk about your shared interests (ex: the love of your dogs)!
If large meet ups aren't your thing, setting up one on one play dates is the perfect way to socialize your pups in a controlled environment.

Pals is a free app that lets you connect with other dog owners in the area.
You create a profile for your dog by uploading a photo and some information. Then you get to choose a radius and swipe left or right (pass or play) on other dogs in the area. If you match up with another dog, you can message the other dog owner and set up a play date for your pups to play.
It was created by a local Virginia resident and is currently only available in the DMV area.
