As a devoted dog mom to Fiona the German Shepherd and Oliver the Golden Retriever, I've embarked on a mission to uncover the best spots for you and your pups to enjoy around the DMV area.
The idea for Paws in the DMV stemmed from my own experiences as a dog owner. My weekends were spent dialing up restaurants and breweries, inquiring about their pet policies. Frustrated by the lack of easily accessible information, I decided to take matters into my own hands. What started as a personal Google Map quickly evolved into a dedicated Instagram page (and now website), where I share insights and recommendations for dog-friendly establishments.
